Terms & Conditions
These terms apply when you use thealgotrader.co.in or buy any course, mentorship, indicator access or software from The Algo Trader, operated by Patel Alay, trading as The Algo Trader. By enrolling or making a payment, you agree to these terms.
1. What we provide
- Algo Automation Basic Course (currently ₹9,000): education on turning trading rules into code, testing it, and the difference between backtesting, paper trading and live trading.
- Weekend Mentorship (currently ₹29,999): group sessions on Saturday and Sunday at 11:00 AM or 9:00 PM IST, with a maximum of 20 participants per batch (10 beginner, 10 intermediate). This is group mentorship with doubt clarification, not unlimited one-to-one coaching. We may change the schedule with prior notice.
- Trading software (Expert Advisors / bots): a licence to use the software on your own trading account, on the terms given at the time of purchase.
Prices are in Indian Rupees and may change. Applicable taxes are extra where they apply. The price shown when you pay is the price that applies to you.
2. No advice, no guarantees
All content, sessions, indicators, examples and software are for education and as tools. They are not investment advice and not a recommendation to trade any instrument. We do not guarantee profits, returns, win rates or any particular result. You alone decide whether to trade, what to trade, how much, and when. Read our Trading Risk Disclaimer before enrolling.
3. Eligibility and your responsibilities
- You must be 18 or older and legally able to enter into a contract.
- You are responsible for your own broker account, KYC, taxes, and for making sure the instruments and brokers you use are permitted for you under the laws that apply to you. For Indian residents this includes FEMA and RBI rules on forex, CFDs and overseas brokers, and the rules on crypto assets.
- You trade with your own money, in your own account, at your own risk. We do not manage funds and do not trade on your behalf.
- We will never ask for your trading-account password, investor password or OTP. Do not share them with anyone.
3A. Nifty indicator access
- The Nifty indicator is a signal-only charting tool. It shows buy and sell signals on a chart and does not place trades.
- Weekend Mentorship participants get access for 3 months from the date access is first given.
- Access may be extended for as long as we offer the indicator if the participant opens a trading account through our partner or referral link and keeps it active, subject to the partner's own terms. We will confirm eligibility in writing.
- Access is personal and may not be shared, resold or copied. We may update, change or discontinue the indicator. If we discontinue it during your 3-month period, we will tell you in advance.
- Recorded indicator outcomes shown on our website are historical observations of the signals, not anyone's actual trading returns.
4. Enrolment and payment
An enquiry or a WhatsApp message does not reserve a seat. A mentorship seat is confirmed only after we have received and verified your payment. Course access and software licences are issued after payment is confirmed.
5. Software licence
- Each licence is for the number of trading accounts stated at purchase. It is personal and non-transferable.
- You may not resell, share, copy, decompile or reverse-engineer the software.
- Where a product offers risk settings (for example moderate or high risk), you choose the setting. We may advise on how the settings work, but the decision and its result are yours.
- Software can fail because of broker execution, spreads, slippage, platform updates, internet or VPS outages, or bugs. You are responsible for monitoring your account.
- Strategies that use martingale or increasing lot sizes can lose a large part, or all, of an account. Use them only with money you can afford to lose.
6. Content and recordings
All course material, recordings, code templates, indicators and documents belong to The Algo Trader. They are for your personal learning only. You may not record sessions, share links, or redistribute material without our written permission.
7. Conduct
We may remove a participant from a batch, community group or service, without a refund, for abusive behaviour, sharing paid material, or attempting to misuse the software.
8. Limits of our liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for any trading loss, missed profit, or loss caused by brokers, exchanges, platforms, internet or power failures, or decisions you make. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific service the claim relates to.
9. Refunds
Refunds are handled under our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version on this page on the date you pay applies to that purchase.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Ahmedabad, Gujarat have jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any consumer-protection rights you have under Indian law.
